We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference ZC144819. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page unless stated otherwise.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data collected through this website — for example when you send an enquiry or book a call. It does not cover the separate customer or pilot agreement that applies once you become a customer; that agreement sets out how we process data on your organisation's behalf as a processor under UK GDPR Article 28.

  1. Contact details you give us directly — name, organisation, email address — when you email us or book a call.
  2. The content of any message you send us.

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies on this website. See our Cookie policy for what is actually set.

4. How we use it

  1. To respond to your enquiry and arrange a call.
  2. To keep a record of the conversation, so we don't ask you to repeat yourself.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to enquiries you've chosen to send us.

5. Where your data is held

Your data is held in the UK. To be confirmed — the specific hosting provider and the list of sub-processors involved are being finalised and will be published here before they are relied on.

6. How long we keep it

To be confirmed — our enquiry retention period is being finalised. Until it is set out here, we keep enquiry data for no longer than is reasonably necessary to respond to it and follow up.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. Contact hello@sympl.co.uk to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Customer data remains exportable even if Sympl stops trading — see our Terms for the commercial detail.
