What we do
Sympl designs and builds Work Hubs — AI-powered coordination layers that sit between your people and the tools they already use. We work with growing UK businesses (typically 20–150 people) where coordination has become a constraint on growth.
The problem we address is specific: not the lack of software, but the gap between where work is decided and where it actually gets tracked, owned, and followed through. Email, Teams chat, and verbal agreements carry most of the load — and there’s no system underneath them.
A Work Hub changes that. It gives unstructured work somewhere to land, creates lightweight accountability, and gives leadership a clear picture of what’s actually happening across the business — without adding another platform for the team to manage.
Our approach
We run short, fixed-scope engagements. The first step is always a Diagnostic Sprint — a structured look at one business function to understand where coordination is breaking down and whether a hub would fix it. No long discovery phases. No open-ended retainers upfront. You get a concrete output you can act on, whether you build with us or not.
When we do build, we build fast. A working hub is typically live within five working days of the design being agreed. The run-in period — usually six weeks — is where the real value compounds: the team builds habits, the hub learns the patterns, and we adjust until it’s running reliably without us.
Everything we build is designed to be owned by you. Full documentation, no proprietary lock-in, and a handover that means you’re not dependent on us to keep it running.
The team
Our team spans strategy, delivery, enterprise IT, and applied AI. Everyone who works on a Sympl engagement has operated inside large organisations and built real systems — not just advised on them. We know what the coordination problem looks like from the inside because we’ve lived it.
We bring in the right people for each engagement: delivery leads, AI practitioners, sector advisors, and implementation specialists matched to what your project actually needs. No fixed overhead on your side. Exactly the right capability on ours.
Why Sympl
The name reflects the belief that most business operating problems aren’t complex — they’re just unstructured. A little structure, in the right place, makes things significantly simpler. That’s the Sympl proposition: not transformation theatre, but practical operating improvement that compounds over time.
We’re based in the UK and work primarily with UK SMEs.
